Sky is the limit: A Sacco wants to put up a Ksh 75m head office
Tower Sacco Society Limited based in Ol Kalou is putting up a Sh 75 million four-storeyed office complex to serve as the Society’s head offices.
According to the feasibility study conducted by the Society’s Board of Directors, the Sacco has outgrown its current office block and is in need of more space as well as a new image.
Estimated to be complete after one year, comes at a time when the Sacco embarked on a transformation agenda to ensure effective and efficient quality service delivery to its members.
Te building when completed, will be the new headquarters and is expected to greatly reduce the Sacco’s operating expenses including rent, security, land rates and licenses and human resources among others.
John Gitundu is the the Chairmanof the Sacco, “The Society will adopt new strategies in offering sustainable services to members.Tower Sacco has also developed an E-loan product, which members can access through the mobile phone. This is in an addition to a range of already existing loan products.
The chairman was addressing members during a recent Special General Meeting held at Ol-Kalou Catholic grounds.
Tower Sacco recruited 10,230 new members in the last eight months of this year to reach a total membership of over 55,400 as at 31st August 2017. S
